Recently, I posted on Facebook, from the book, "The Energy of Emotions" the following quote.
Releasing the Past Point of View
"Take a deep breath and let go.
You are stronger, smarter, and wiser for everything you've gone through.
You are also clearer than you have ever been.
You have a much better idea of who you are.and what you want from life.
Maybe it wasn't easy before; that's okay, too. The past is the past, and we're not going to judge it any =more.
We're not going to turn it into a tragedy, and we're not going to turn it into our golden years. We're not going to be sad about it because that changes nothing in the past and only creates more of the same in the now.
It's all about now and now is where your point of power is. Now you know better, and that's all that matters."
The Energy of Emotions
When I read the above, it felt like a salve on my body and I hope for those of you who read my entries will find healing from it as I did.
Becoming tne New You is a process. I decided I wanted to be happy and while I'm still a work in process, I am happier today on a day-to-day basis than I ever have been. How did this happen? In The Moment. When that voice inside my head starts, I say, "that was then, this is now." Then I replace the negative comment or emotion with a positive one.
